# Organizations and members

Every user owns one organization created automatically and can join additional organizations. Manage the active organization on the [Organization page](https://app.narilabs.com/organization).

## Roles

| Role   | Permissions                                                                  |
| ------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Owner  | Full organization access. The owner cannot leave, be removed, or be demoted. |
| Admin  | Manage organization settings, members, invitations, API keys, and billing.   |
| Member | Manage API keys and use organization resources.                              |

Owners and Admins can invite teammates, change non-owner roles, and remove non-owner members.

## Seats and invitations

Pending invitations reserve seats and expire after 48 hours. Existing members and pending invitations remain valid if the organization later exceeds its seat limit. New invitations require an available seat.

A [single \$100+ credit purchase](/usage-and-billing#ga-credits-and-organization-upgrades) upgrades an organization to Paid Tier 1. Smaller purchases do not accumulate.
